Hyperbole notwithstanding this might be the coolest tool I've seen. If you're a musician, or just interested in how technology is assisting with music production, watch this video about a product called Direct Note Access.
Since my band (Contraband) is going into the recording studio to begin working on our first release (in whatever media/digitally based format we end up choosing), this product seems to be one that we certainly can use.
