Google + Wiki = ?

It equals a SearchWiki (though I'm not sure it's really accurately named).  Google has enhanced their search response capabilities with their introduction of SearchWiki, allowing the user (presuming they are in their gmail account) to organize the results of any search result page.  It's particularly useful for terms that you frequently use, as you can reorganize the results and even add pages that did not come up through the standard search process.

Check out the video (above) from the Google Search Team showing how to use it.  Pretty cool (though, is it really a wiki?).

Hi Gang...

Usually I leave the political rantings to brother Peter, but with our election tomorrow (as Peter has said, it could be the first time that we are actually privy to seeing history and know about it in advance) here are a few last minute sites that are beyond the typical muck and mire. 

Fivethirtyeight - Written by a baseball sabremetrician, the site analyzes all the statistical data and actually makes sense of the polls (ya gotta like math to like it)

Iftheworldcouldvote - Just what the name indicates - vote online and see what the world is saying about this election

Politweets - As they say, where Twitter gets political.

Wait... a few more (I re-edited this one).  Twittervotereport - Using Twitter to report election day problems and issues.  Check out Current TV to watch the returns as well.
